Many Ghanaians have joined Dr.Charles Dwamena who is popularly known in the political space as Dr.China,the former deputy ambassador to China and NPP National Treasurer hopeful as he celebrates his birthday .They wish him long life and better health.A cross section of governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) prayed that Dr.China will be celebrating his next birthday as National Treasurer of NPP
The NPP National Treasurer hopeful has stated emphatically that “as national treasurer, I will set up the Business Incubation Fund and the Human Resource Empowerment Program among others to support party members financially to stand on their feet. This programs would be at the constituency level and would be tailored in a way to avoid the “whom you know” syndrome .This I believe, will go a way to reduce joblessness among our teeming supporters”.
Brief profile of Dr Charles Dwamena.Dr.Dwamena is a medical doctor and a politician whose main focus is on the creation of opportunities through political decisions for the welfare of his people. He is a product of Wenzhou Medical University, Cambridge University and the University of Cumbria where he completed his Bachelor’s (MBBS), CELTA and Master’s (MBALS) degrees respectively. He again pursued and completed his postgraduate studies in Otorhinolaryngology at the Plymouth University in the United Kingdom. He has special interest in Telemedicine and has been promoting Telemedicine in Africa by representing the continent in a number of International Telemedicine Conferences, the recent one being the 2018 Beijing International Telemedicine Summit.
He is also the author of a number of books including MEDTERMS Conversion Guide, a medical reference book that has greatly made it possible for international students to cope with Medical Chinese whiles studying in China.
