Ghana’s former Deputy Ambassador to China, Dr. Charles Dwamena, is safe and recovering fast after being involved in an accident on the Accra- Kumasi Highway, between Nkawkaw and Juaso on the Breku Forest reserve stretch of the highway.
The accident happened in the early hours of Friday 3rd September 2021 when he and his driver were on their way to the Ahafo Region through Kumasi for scheduled Party activities.
They were expected to continue their journey thereafter to a TESCON program which had been put together by the Krobo Nursing and Midwifery School where he was expected to deliver a speech as the guest of honour.
Dr. China, as he is popularly called, left Accra at in the early hours of September 3rd and was expected to make a stop over in Kumasi to honour a radio interview (on the morning show) that had been put together by the Ashanti Regional office of GBC.
Both Dr. China and his driver are in stable condition and have been given medical care at both the Juaso Government Hospital and the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
